Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds are handled for bookings made through WeGoDive, including our booking deposit and any payments made to dive schools.

How Payments Work

When you book a dive course through WeGoDive, a booking deposit (typically up to 15% of the total dive price) is charged at the time of reservation via Stripe. This deposit is WeGoDive's service fee for facilitating the booking.

The remaining course balance is paid directly to the dive school according to their terms โ€” WeGoDive does not collect or hold the remaining payment.

WeGoDive (operated by SideEye Labs Pte. Ltd., UEN: 202606926K) is your point of contact for any deposit disputes or refund requests.

Eligibility for Refunds

  • Cancellation within policy window: Full or partial refund as specified by the dive school's terms shown at checkout.
  • School-initiated cancellation: Full refund if the dive school cancels for any reason.
  • Service not delivered: Full refund if the school fails to deliver the booked course without offering a reschedule.
  • Duplicate payment: Duplicate charges refunded upon verification.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Cancellations made outside the school's cancellation window
  • No-shows without prior notice
  • Bookings where the service was partially or fully delivered
  • Change of mind after the cancellation window has passed

How to Request a Refund

  1. Log in and go to My Bookings.
  2. Select the booking and submit a cancellation or refund request.
  3. Alternatively, email support@wegodive.com with your booking reference and reason.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method:

  • Credit / debit card: 5โ€“10 business days
  • Local bank transfer: 1โ€“3 business days
  • Other methods: Up to 10 business days

WeGoDive does not charge any fees for processing refunds.

Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision, contact us at support@wegodive.com. We will mediate between you and the dive school. Unresolved disputes are governed by Singapore law per our Terms of Service.
